About the Role
Krishna Academy is looking for a knowledgeable and engaging TGT Social Science Teacher to teach middle and secondary classes. The ideal candidate should be able to make subjects like History, Geography, Civics, and Economics interesting, relatable, and easy to understand.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Teaching & Academic Delivery
- Teach Social Science to Classes 6th–10th as per CBSE curriculum
- Cover subjects like History, Geography, Civics, and Economics
- Prepare lesson plans, notes, and classroom activities
- Conduct regular tests and assessments
🔹 Student Engagement & Development
- Encourage discussions, debates, and interactive learning
- Develop critical thinking and awareness about society and environment
- Support students in improving academic performance
🔹 Classroom & Activity Management
- Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment
- Use maps, charts, and digital tools for better understanding
- Organize quizzes, projects, and group activities
🔹 School Coordination
- Participate in school events, PTMs, and academic meetings
- Maintain student records and progress reports
- Coordinate with other teachers and management
✅ Required Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Science (History/Geography/Political Science/Economics)
- B.Ed. is mandatory
- 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred (Freshers can apply)
